Visible from most of the community is this spectacular wood sculpture atop the Masonic Lodge building. The figures were carved from a single block of Redwood by Erick Albertson, a local mill worker, who did this as a labor of love in his spare time. He was a charter member of the Lodge and its Master for 4 years between 1856 and 1870. There is more of his fine work inside the building.
